6201 on the Cumbrian Mountain Express - 05/07/2008
A typical Cumbrian day with 6201 Princess Elizabeth on the Cumbrian Mountain Express (Carnforth - Tebay - Penrith - Low House - Appleby - Kirkby Stephen - Blea Moor - Hellifield) on Saturday 5th July 2008. The first scene shows 6201 heading north (Kidderminster to Carnforth) at Acton Bridge on the day before the tour (4th July 2008). Then she is seen near Greenholme and despite several slips around Scout Green continuing on past Shap Wells through the rain. Next 6201 approaches Appleby near Langwathby and finally tackles the climb to Ais Gill summit in a thunder storm.
Note: the thundery rain got into the camera works at Ais Gill and decided to move the camera from telephoto to wide angle hence the rather sharp "zoom out" and other odd changes. [Bad workman blames tools!!]
