Young people became ambassadors within Manningtree to facilitate a network to other young people in their local community proposing and negotiating future projects of their choice.
20 young people aged between 11 - 13 years came together alongside artists at The Platform, Mistley, Manningtree, for 5 Saturday mornings to produce an exhibition of art work, activities and interests that would bring together like minded young people involving creating a dark room within a photography project, graffiti art involving making their own bowling alley, designing and printing their own tee-shirts, sculpture in the rain making a willow teapot, projecting images through recycling, making piñata sculptures.
They produced their animated DVD including images of the work to help promote future projects in which the young people have already proposed 'The Smallest Town Goes Flying' which would involve the community of Manningtree and other young people will be able to have the opportunity to join in.
