TWISTERS were spotted across the West Lancashire sky on Sunday (July, 6).
The funnel clouds, which are the beginning of tornados, were seen above Burscough, Aughton, Lathom, Ormskirk and Scarisbrick between 1.10pm and 2.30pm.
Several people contacted the Advertiser and sent in pictures of the twisters which appeared as stormy weather battered Lancashire and Merseyside.
