Where there is a flight of locks such as this flight of seven locks at Stoke Bruerne, typically there will be something for sightseers. In getting to know Northamptonshire, I noticed that there seems to be a connection between the old drover's road - still marked on maps as the Welsh Road - canals and Welsh people in England.
