The SVR's resident 8F 2-8-0 no. 48773 was withdrawn from service on the 13/01/08. This loco has been in service for many years and has done the SVR proud! The video commences with a couple of shots of the loco when it was running in 2006, we then show the loco on it's last day in service on the Bridgnorth shuttles. The video ends with the loco arriving into Bridgnorth platform with it's last train. This loco will shortly be on static display in the Engine House at Highley in the not too distant future
