David sings this aria by George Frideric Handel (1685-1759) who wrote beautifully for the tenor voice and is always a joy to sing. Stuart Burrows OBE (1933-) from Cilfynydd, South Wales, was an internationally acclaimed Mozart tenor who had also been a gifted Rugby player. Before finding success as a singer, Stuart taught David's brother Colin at Bargoed South Primary School. After graduating at Cardiff, Colin joined the Welsh National Opera as a tenor.
