To mark the official opening of the Stirling-Alloa passanger line on 15-05-2008, the Scottish Railway Preservation Society ran three return trips between Stirling and Alloa, using Deltic 55022 "Royal Scots Grey" and steam locomotive 61994 "The Great Marquess" in a top and tail formation.
